Vomination's without a doubt the new Swedish hope of death metal. Such a promising new band. They started playing together
in late 2004, and in March 2005 they've already managed to create a powerful demo like this one. It's pretty amazing how fast they've
managed to develop in such extent. As to create one of the most vicious songs I've heard in years. It's been a long time since I
last heard a song that just absolutely blew me away, and cut me off by the knees, leaving me bleeding, craving for more...
A Cold Wind of Sorrow is such an amazing track - extremely heavy and powerful death metal, mixed with icy black metal and topped
with abominable, vicious, high-bloody-quality vocals. I'm very impressed!
I'd consider A Cold Wind of Sorrow to be the best track on here, but the rest is not far behind. Vomination manages to
cover everything from technical Morbid Angel death metal to chilly Lord Belial black metal... And the vocals are just fucking
awesome. They mix so many styles together, and in such a marvellous manner - death, black and doom... Name your brand and they know how to
perform!
This demo will be re-released as a 4-way split on Russian label Magik Art, and it would definitely surprise me if Vomination's
not picked up by a major label, and signed for a multiple album deal.
