Is this disturbing or what? That was actually a rhetorical question, 'cause there's no doubt about it - this is seriously disturbing!
Sekt mixes various noises with (what sounds like) sounds of machinery and adding samples to it. There's constantly some form
of melody to it, so it doesn't sound like you're just sitting in some factory, listening to the machines. No, the feelings I get is
that some stuff here sounds like when my old Commodore 64 used to freeze in the middle of a game. Or like a prolonged intro to some
metal album. It could be just a couple of sounds you're hearing, but after a minute or so you notice another noise... And over the
next couple of minutes the noise gets stronger, building, until it takes over... When you've finally figured out what's going on it
changes, so you never know what to expect. Now what I can't figure out is how you can have the energy to create this music, if it can
actually be described as music - just plain noise is a fitting description.
Let the terror begin! That's a title made to perfection... Repeated slamming, scratching and irritating noises accompanied
by a suppressed voice saying, what I think is, "nobody cares about you, they all want you dead"... This is seriously annoying,
disturbing and terrifying. Lock someone in a room, strap them in a chair, or confine them in the manner of your choice - but don't
forget to set this tape on repeat! I can guarantee you'll not be met by a sane person when it's time to set him/her free. This will
bloody terrorize 'em off the edge of sanity! I can't stand listening to this for another minute, as I feel I'm losing what little I
have left...
