YEAH! Article Nine are back! I was really looking forward to this one. No other band gets my blood boiling like it does when listening to Article Nine. The extremely political, and quite militant, lyrics gets my adrenaline rushing. Some of the best political lyrics ever can be found in Article Nine songs. They make me just wanna get a gang together and go outside to kick some nazi scum and some fascist coppers. With their first 7, Fuelled by Anger, Article Nine became one of my favourite bands. With the kick-ass political lyrics combined with the raging metallic crust, theres no stopping this band! I know a lot of you folks dislikes Article Nine just cause you find the vocals to be annoying, but to those of you I would just like to say one thing: shove off, this rules!
Article Nine are definitely ready for a full length, and I really hope some label will take care of that.
Skullkrusher reminds me a lot of Wolfbrigade. Also quite metallic crust, but lacks the furious lyrics that Article Nines got. But its not fair to compare this to AN, since theyre one of my favourite bands, as I said earlier. The lyrics of Skullkrusher are your quite ordinary crust lyrics about war. Maybe not the most original topic, but who can blame them for singing about war when hailing from the states? Dual vocals - like two rabid dogs barking at each other. Great stuff here. My first time hearing Skullkrusher, and they did a good first impression.
