To me, this was a great surprise. Haven't heard anything about/by AOS in ages, and suddenly this was released. Well, the songs on here are two years old, so it can still make you doubt if they even still exist as a band nowadays (which they do). It would be a damn shame if they didn't. Three songs of just raging crust with two main vocalists, one male and one female. To be honest it's almost impossible to distinguish which voice is of which gender, as Denise sure know how to growl. Dark, kick-ass American crust with very political lyrics - The way it was meant to be!
I doubt that anyone's missed out on Human Waste, considering they release about one record every month, hehe. And frequent visitors of this site know that I've never been really impressed with HW. Well, with this I stand correctly. First track is amazing! Slow, agonized crust with killer vocals, and I've never been a fan of Sylen's vocals, but he sure is doing something right on this song. Every riff and solo in that song just rips! The two other songs are a bit faster, and also way better than older HW stuff. Maybe not as killer as Bevittna Min Undergång, but still a huge improvement. If they keep this up I might have to change my opinion about Human Waste!
