On the split with Konfrontation I really didn't like this band's stuff, I actually thought it sucked big time. So you can easily say I didn't have any high expectations for this one. But they've developed, I can tell you that for sure. It used to be lame and boring punkrock, now it's really thought through hard-hitting rock/punk. More rock, and even a touch of hardcore. The vocals are rougher and the riffs are truly mind-blowing. It's virtually impossible to not get sucked in and rock along to the wicked melodies. In the second song, The Bottle and the Bride, they use some drugged up and horror-like back-ups. Can't really describe it, but it's oh-so-cool. The artwork for the label's on the vinyl (you know the round paper-thingie in the middle of the record) is wicked - Crazed killer clowns, perfect tattoo material.
This might not be my normal style of music, but this is a sure hit in every rocker's apartment!
