I have no idea what the track titles are, ‘cause none are printed, and since no lyrics follow either there’s no telling what these guys are really going on about. Judging by their musical influences stated in the promo sheet (Napalm Death, Nasum, Misery Index, Terrorizer etc) my guess would be socio-political lyrics, but I could of course be wrong. And musically this is really brutal, punishing grindcore keeping one foot in the old school grave and the other one steadily in a more technical and polished manner. Next On The List can just as well blast you through hell as slowly and churning mangle you into a bloody pulp, as the tempo is highly varied. Frenzied screams and growls go at it and together with the arse-ripping drumming and riffing it ends up in a really brutal fashion.
It feels a bit like mixing Leng Tch’e with Gadget, and you’ll find traces of hardcore as well as death metal. Definitely an intriguing promo with a highly talented band I’m sure will be offered quite a few deals after a recording like this.
