Japanische Kampfhörspiele - S/T CD
Genre: Grindcore Origin: Germany Released: 2001 Website: Japanische Kampfhörspiele Label: Blutwurscht Produktion Uploaded: 30.03.06 This is not as great as the Die Großstadt stinkt, ist laut und septisch CD Japanische Kampfhörspiele released a year after this one, but it’s troubled by the same lousy sound quality. This is more like an everyday run-in-the-mill grindcore band trying to be original. It does nothing for me to be honest. Sure, there are some highlights, like the Im feld song. But most of the time it’s just plain, and I’m not too big of a fan of plain. I like my grindcore spicy! Fairly technical riffing, varying from thrash metal to grindcore to punk to death metal to whatever. The drumming goes from fast grinding to slow in a heartbeat, but not fully nailing the great breakdowns JAKA shows us later in their career. Vocal wise it’s nothing too exciting – growling and suppressed screaming. Not the best they’ve done, and nothing too exciting. Since this is a collection of their best demo songs it doesn’t leave me craving for their entire demos, I’d rather look for their later releases. Tracklist: 01. Dresscode 02.
