Ok, another crappy demo for me to review. Evanescence, anyone? Well not for me! This is like a hardcorized version of the goth-pop act that had their breakthrough a couple of years ago. Nu-metal, goth, a tad hardcore blended in a very melodic way. A guy screams every now and then, but not very good since he sounds just like any other nu-metal vocalist trying to be a bad ass. And then we have the clean female vocals that adds a gothic touch to it. But otherwise it’s just plain nu-metal.
I’m trying to give this a fair judgement, but I really can’t stand this type of music. And I get a bit irritated when the good name of metal gets dragged in the mud by lousy bands like this…As soon as I’m done writing this review I’m gonna put on some Avulsed to get rid of the bad taste in the back of my throat.
