This band comes from Germany and have been playing together since 1991. For 12 years of existence they're fairly unknown.
I think they can be compared a little to Ulcerrhoea and Agathocles. A lot longer songs and also a lot slower than Ulcerrhoea, but still there's something there that makes me think of them. And I just get an Agathocles vibe from time to time. Immured actually have an upcoming split 7" with Ulcerrhoea and Skullkrusher. And the first two songs on this promo are the ones that will appear on that record. They're also two of the three top songs on here, but way too slow. Immured would benefit a lot from shorter and faster songs. I don't mind having slower tempos mixed in with the grinding, but there's too little grinding going on here. The best song on here is probably Dis-Troy, grinding, screaming and growling. The last song is funny, hehe. It actually has got a disco-feeling to it. So... Shorter and faster songs, or more fun stuff like Disko AG, would make me appreciate this more. Not that Immured suck or anything like that, I just need more speed.
