I rarely get to review a pure hardcore recording, and if I do it�s even more seldom that I like it. But here we have the demo of a new Swedish sensation; a pure old school hardcore tornado, jam-packed with powerful backup choirs, the way we all love it. And these southern lads really whip up a whirlwind of adrenaline-pumping, blood boiling, nerve-trembling, sweat inducing moshpit goldies.
H�rda Tider, themselves, hail acts such as 7 Seconds, Reagan Youth and Minor Threat. Now, I�m really lousy when it comes to hardcore since I don�t listen to a whole lot of bands and I really don�t know of many bands. But what I can tell you is that Hardcore 2007 is a showcase of pure energy and circle-pit turned into music. Raging vocals and fast-forward tunes. And I especially like the fact that the lyrics are in their native tongue, but they still deal with classic topics such as scene pride and unity. Extra kudos since it�s a tape demo and not a cd-r. Kick-ass!
