5 songs in 25 minutes. Well this sure isn't grindcore... This is sort of schizoid hardcore/metalcore, but that also contains some grinding parts. It's not exactly top notch, and it's really not something I would give another listen if it wasn't for this review.
The promo sheet says Ebola's trying to create something other than the typical metalcore. Ok, it's not your typical metalcore, but it's not very good either. Sure, these guys know how to handle their instruments and all... But the wholesome is nothing outstanding. The only noticeable track is the slower, more melodic emo-like Tragica, which also uses a lot of clean vocals instead of the otherwise, not-so-good and a tad annoying, screaming. Otherwise it's pretty plain metal-hardcore stuff. The thing that sets Ebola apart from the rest is the lyrics, which are written in Italian. Nothing too exciting.
