These French death metallers sure took me by surprise, this is so much better than the tunes they presented on The French Underground
compilation. A showcase of absolutely murderous mangle, nicely executed and produced, and served in a package called Inexorable
Devastation.
Wicked bloody string-work, the riffs are of such high quality it's on the same level as Nile, Morbid Angel or any of the
other major death metal bands. Fierce and technical! Raging grinding drums, as well as heretical slow drumming. Awesome growls with screaming
to back it up. Al lyrics in French, so I have no idea what the hell's going on in their minds. The front cover artwork looks great, but the
back and the booklet's a little bit annoying. But that's all I have to complain about - That the titles are a bit difficult to read. So why
bother bitching about it?
As well as nine tracks of Dislocation's own brand of brutality we also get a cover of Hypocrisy's Pleasure of Molestation.
To end it all they've put a hidden track on here. It's Psychotombe played a double speed or something. I've never heard smurf death
metal before! It sounds cool and fucking hilarious. Well, that's not really the end. There's a second hidden track! An instrumental didgeridoo
outro.
A highly recommended album for any fan of awesome death metal played by talented musicians.
