New stuff from Caustic Christ... But to be completely honest I've heard very little by Caustic Christ, and from what I understand on the little sheet of paper that came with the record, this 7" differs a bit from their usual stuff - "Less scandicrust and more 80's hardcore in the vein of early Poison Idea and Corrosion of Conformity" is pretty much what it says. But with ex members of Aus Rotten and React, to name a few, how could this go wrong? Well, this is not what I usually go for, being honest yet again. But I gotta tella ya this is definitely not a party pooper. If you've got a bunch of punks gathered then this 7" will sure as hell get the party started. Energetic and pissed hardcore that punks will definitely take to heart, especially fans of early 80ies hardcore (just like the paper told me). Something here sure makes me think of Britain, might be the Discharge influence, hehe.
I know this is not the best review ever written, but that's only 'cause it's not my usual cup of tea, and I'm not quite sure what to write. I like it - It's bitter and frustrated hardcore punk with wicked artwork and lots of energy.
