Zeroland is this acts third fullength, and without a doubt the best so far - I can just as well state that up front! Polish grindcore comes in many different shapes, but non in the shape of Antigama.
Avantgrind seems to have become a new sub genre of grindcore, and I suppose that's where these grinders fits in. As well as highly metallic string-work as hardcorish breakdowns you get tons of noise and experimental metal work. Like some parts of track 5, How, which reminds me of Rob Zombie... But all this is mixed up in the grindcore blender to tremendous speeds and with enormous vocals. Just take the weird-as-hell vocals about 40 seconds into The View - holy fuck is that haunting! It sounds like Satan himself is coming out of your speakers!
It doesn't get out of hand, and it never gets annoying as with some of the more experimental bands. Antigama manages to steer all these influences in the wanted direction. And the fact that it can sound this amazing on CD makes me wonder how it would sound live!
Bloody diverse, haunting and unrelenting music for the auditorially insane!
