My first time experiencing Antigama was the Intellect Made Us Blind CD. I didn't really get into it, so I didn't really bother checking their future releases out. Until I received the Third Degree / Herman Rarebell split for review - And totally fell head over heels for the massive grinding. I just absolutely loved it. And to me that recording's without a doubt Antigama's best. So of course this re-issue of their 2004 CD Discomfort doesn't leave me as satisfied. However, this is an incredibly tight recording and bloody fat production. Fans of Cephalic Carnage and Pig Destroyer will have a field day over this. It's that modern mix of metal and grind (and maybe some drugs too, I don't know) that sets way for this savage kind of music. Talented musicians playing technical and brutal grindcore, I don't think there's anything else that needs to be said.
As a bonus to this re-release you also get a re-mix of Fala, a song from the Intellect Made Us Blind CD, plus a video to the opening track Flies.
