After months of waiting the new site is launched, but before we get on with all the new features I have this to
say - Let me see your war face!
You can now win a copy of Italian death/folk metallers Krampus' latest EP Kronos' heritage.
The rules are simple; show us your best war paint. Let your imagination flow, snap a photo and e-mail it to me along with your name and country. Deadline is January 7th, upon which Krampus themselves will decide the winner. After the winner's been decided I'll announce it here, send the winner an e-mail to get your address and send you the CD.
Need inspiration? Check out some live photos of Krampus in their war paint.
And now on to the new site... As you can see pretty much everything's brand new. The new logo was designed by the masterful death metal artist Jon Zig, but everything else was designed and programmed by Krogh.
There are tons of new stuff added, like for instance the new "In the spotlight" section. Here I'll put the spotlight on whatever I find interesting and worthy; be it a label, band, musician, whatever. First up is the very interesting young label Temple of Torturous.
Other than that I've added two new tour diaries; one by German deathgrinders Profanation and one by Swedish death metallers Volturyon, and also interviews with Brutally Deceased, Fleshcut, Fyrnask, Mentally Axed, RazorRape and Sakatat.
I've also added a bunch of new photos and 40+ new reviews.
New features like the search function, share buttons and commentary fields for reviews have also been added. Perhaps there are some minor bugs to be found, although hopefully not, and if you find any please let me know so I can fix them.
Other than that I have nothing else to add. Hope you like the new site!
